Garage Door Opener Repair for Lawai homes and businesses
Looking for garage door opener repair near you in Lawai? Most opener faults are a worn gear, a drifting travel limit or a sensor knocked out of line — not a dead unit that needs replacing. We cover Lawai, Hanamaulu, Waimea and the rest of Kauai County, seven days a week.
What this call usually covers
- Opener runs but the door doesn't move (stripped gear)

Need something else while we're out? We can combine this visit with a garage door tune-up or any other job below, which saves a second call-out fee.
Why Lawai doors need this
Kauai's rain, humidity and ocean air corrode cables and springs faster than most mainland climates.
We keep the parts for garage door opener repair on the truck, so most Lawai visits are finished the same day rather than turning into a return trip.

What Lawai customers say
Real feedback from garage door jobs across the islands.
Clean work, tidy finish, and they programmed both cars' built-in remotes before leaving. Small thing but it mattered.
Opener finally died after 14 years. They talked me through belt versus chain without pushing the expensive one, installed it the next morning and set up the app for me.
Called at 9pm with the door stuck wide open. They came out that night, got it closed and secured, and came back with the right cable the next day.
Garage Door Opener Repair in Lawai — questions
My opener hums but nothing moves. Bad motor?
Usually a stripped drive gear or a broken spring making the door too heavy. Both are repairs, not replacements.
Why does my door reverse before closing?
Nine times out of ten it's the safety sensors — knocked, dirty or misaligned. Sometimes it's the down-force setting.
Is it worth repairing a 15-year-old opener?
If parts are still made, yes. Past about 15 years we'll price both options so you can compare honestly.
